Hey Welcome! ๐
My name is Andres Perez, a computer engineering student at the University of Notre Dame. Born and raised in Long Beach, California, I am the first in my family to go to college, so I dedicated myself to become a bit better everyday. My current interests lie in embedded systems, robotics, mathematics and everything low-level! Currently, I'm:
- Committing my time to IrishSat as the new Electronics Lead for the GOAT subteam, where I'm leading development on our Helmholtz cage project
- Conducting Drone research to visualise GPS data!
- Authoring the CREATE Newsletter for the Center for Career Development (If you're an ND Alumni and want to be feature, feel free to reach out!)
- On the lookout for an internship for Summer 2026!
Beyond the classroom, I enjoy working out, playing chess and billiards, and chipping alway at learning Japanese! ๅใฎๆฅๆฌ่ชใฏไธๆใงใใใๆฏๆฅๅๅผทใใฆใใพใใI love talking about musicals, space and the latests in tech!
